Ammolite

This brightly coloured, almost psychedelic paisley print may shock the senses on a cursory glance but it is within this rioting diversity of the Ammolite where beauty is created. Though named after a little town in Scotland, the origins of this rich pattern lie within the borders of Kashmir and Persia. The dainty almond shape that dominates the cover was a Persian creation, supplemented by the cramming of vibrant curving abstractions introduced by India.
